Problem — rust destroys metal
Corrosion is one of the main enemies of metal structures. Traditional derusting methods are labor-intensive and often damage the base material.
Solution — laser ablation
Pulsed laser selectively removes the rust layer, the base metal remains undamaged. The process is fast, clean and precise.

What we work on
We derust steel structures, railings, forged elements, machine parts, tools and fittings. The substrate can be bare or previously painted — the laser takes the rust off together with coating remnants. The surface afterwards is dry and ready for primer straight away.
What this method will not do
Pitting that has eaten through the material will not disappear — the laser removes corrosion products, it does not replace missing metal. After cleaning you can see exactly how much steel is left, and that is the right moment to decide on welding or replacement.
Laser versus other methods
Against sandblasting: no tenting, no abrasive to collect, so you can work next to a building or inside a hall without taking it out of use. Against chemical removers: no waiting, no rinsing and no risk of the product seeping into gaps and carrying on under the coating.
Time and how it runs
After the laser the steel is clean and slightly matt and does not flash-rust immediately, but it is not permanently protected. Primer is best applied the same day — on outdoor jobs we schedule the cleaning so there is room for it.
